Bluebonnet Medical Rehabilitation Hospital provides acute medical rehabilitation and long-term care services for patients ages 13 and up. Common diagnoses for this program are traumatic brain and spinal cord injury and stroke. Tejas Post-Acute Brain Injury Program provides inpatient residential services for patients ages 14 and up. Common diagnoses for this program are traumatic brain and spinal cord injury and stroke.
The Bluebonnet Medical Clinic, located on the TNC Campus, offers outpatient physical, occupational, speech aquatic and vision therapies. Therapists perform comprehensive evaluations, considering patient challenges and lifestyles to design holistic and individualized treatment. Therapists have specialties and certifications in many areas including vestibular, stroke, hand therapy, aquatics, LSVT BIG and LOUD for Parkinson’s patients, Bioness and Saebo, myofascial release and spasticity management.
The Outpatient Post-Acute Brain Injury Program is also located at the Bluebonnet Medical Clinic and offers neuro-rehabilitation in an outpatient setting.
