For more than thirty six years, Texas NeuroRehab Center has helped individuals recover from brain injury. Our brain injury continuum of care program is dedicated to the specialized management of individuals with traumatic brain injury and stroke.
Our Traumatic Brain Injury program exceeds the resources and abilities of traditional medical rehabilitation programs and has a Disease Specific Care Certification in Brain Injury Rehabilitation from the Joint Commission. Patients benefit from staff-to-patient ratios that surpass the industry standard.
Our Stroke Rehabilitation Program provides the highest quality stroke rehabilitation care, educates stroke survivors and the community about stroke rehabilitation, and advocates for stroke survivors and their families. Our goal is to help patients achieve high functional independence while decreasing the risk of future strokes or other complications.
Patients can travel through the full brain injury care continuum: Long-Term Acute Care (LTACH) to Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation to Post-Acute Brain Injury Rehabilitation to Outpatient Rehabilitation to home, all on one campus in Austin, Texas.
This care model is seamless, working with professionals who are all on the same interdisciplinary team and includes collaboration among medical, clinical and nursing teams. This eases the transition on patients and families by being able to stay on one campus, and, in turn, leads to more positive outcomes and experiences.
Not all patients may qualify to travel through the entire continuum due to their clinical needs or insurance limitations. The Texas NeuroRehab Center Interdisciplinary Team will make recommendations and help the patient and family navigate the process throughout their stay.
