A concussion is a traumatic brain injury that can cause lasting effects on brain tissue and change the chemical balance of the brain. Concussion may cause physical, cognitive, and behavioral symptoms and problems, both short-term and long-term.
Texas NeuroRehab Center is able to treat patients who have suffered a concussion in the outpatient setting.
We currently offer outpatient therapy for Ages 13 and up for patients with:

- Balance and coordination
- Resources and Equipment Needs
- Strategies to perform activities of daily living
- Double or blurred vision
- Sensitivity to light and sound
- Slurred speech
- Muscle weakness
- Chronic headaches and dizziness
- Muscle spasticity
- Difficulty with short-term or long-term memory, attention
- Slowed “processing” (e.g., a decreased ability to think through problems)
- Fogginess
